Terms & Conditions
By placing an order with Camilla Mikalsen Studio, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to protect both you as a customer and me as a business.
1. General
These terms and conditions apply to all sales of products from Camilla Mikalsen Studio via the webshop. We currently ship to Denmark and selected countries within the European Union (EU). You can find the full list of countries we ship to in our Shipping Policy. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental permission to make a purchase.
2. Payment
We accept American express, Maestro, Union Pay, Bancontact, MobilePay, Visa, Mastercard, Klarna and Apple Pay. Prices are shown in the currency selected on the website. If no currency is selected, the default currency is DKK. The payment will be debited from your account once the order is shipped from the printing facility.
Price & Shipping Adjustments
I reserve the right to adjust my prices and shipping rates at any time (for example, due to changes in production costs or carrier fees). The price shown at the moment you complete your purchase is the final price for that order. In the unlikely event of an obvious pricing error, I reserve the right to cancel the order and contact you with the correct information.
3. Shipping & Delivery
We ship to selected countries within the EU via GLS.
Processing: As our products are printed to order (Print on Demand), please allow 1–3 business days for production before shipping.
Delivery: Estimated delivery time is 2–7 business days depending on your location.
CM Studio is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or local postal services.
4. Returns & Cancellations
Cancellations: Due to our automated Print-on-Demand process, orders are sent to production almost immediately. Therefore, we are unable to cancel or change orders once they have been confirmed. Please ensure all details are correct before checking out.
Returns: As a small studio, our products are printed to order to reduce waste. While we encourage mindful shopping, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with EU consumer law.
How to return: You must notify us at info@camillamikalsenstudio.com within 14 days of receiving your order if you wish to make a return. We will then provide you with the return address and further instructions.
Condition: The item must be returned in its original, "as new" condition and in its original packaging (the protective tube).
Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
Refunds: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue a refund for the product price (original shipping costs are non-refundable).
5. Uncollected Packages
If a package is not collected from the parcel shop within the timeframe specified by the carrier (usually 14 days), it will be returned to us. In such cases, a fee of 50 DKK will be charged to cover the return shipping costs and administrative fees. This amount will be deducted from your refund once the package has been returned to the studio.
6. Damaged Goods & Complaints
If your package is damaged during transit, or if you discover a printing defect or other production errors, we will provide a replacement at no extra cost.
To process a claim, you must contact us at info@camillamikalsenstudio.com within 48 hours of delivery.
For shipping damages, please provide:
- Photos of all exterior sides of the packaging.
- Photos of the internal packaging materials.
- Photos of the damaged product.
- A clear photo of the shipping label.
For production errors (e.g., print defects):
Please provide clear photos of the defect and a description of the issue.
Important: In case of shipping damage, please keep all packaging and the product until the claim is resolved. Claims submitted later than 48 hours after delivery may not be eligible for a replacement.
When unrolling your print, please handle it with care. I recommend letting it flatten naturally or using smooth, clean objects to hold the corners. Damage caused by rough handling during unpacking is not covered by the warranty.
7. Privacy Policy
We only collect the information necessary to process your order (name, address, email). Your data is handled securely and in accordance with GDPR. We only share your details with our printing partners and shipping carriers (GLS) to fulfill your order.
8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark.
9. Colors & Screen Display
I do my very best to show the colors of my art as accurately as possible on the website. However, because every phone and computer screen displays colors differently, there might be a slight difference between what you see on your screen and the final print. These minor variations are normal and are not considered a defect.
10. Copyright & Ownership
All artwork and designs on this website are created by me and belong to Camilla Mikalsen Studio. When you buy a print, you are buying the physical piece for your home, but you do not own the rights to the image itself. This means you cannot copy, resell, or use the artwork for any commercial projects without asking me first.
